Press Release – CRM Magazine Names Its 2021 Industry Leaders

NEW YORK, August 30, 2021 — CRM magazine has announced the winners of its 20th annual CRM Industry Awards in its September 2021 issue. The CRM Industry Awards honor the leading providers of customer service, marketing, and sales technologies and services across 10 categories. Additionally, CRM magazine named six exceptionally innovative companies as Conversation Starters.

CRM Industry Leader Awards

The editors of CRM determined the recipients of the CRM Industry Awards with input from industry analysts and consultants. CRM magazine asked its extensive panel of analysts/consultants two basic questions: If a client asked for your top five recommendations in a particular category, which vendors would you suggest and why? Based on those answers, recipients of the 2021 CRM Industry Awards are listed below in their respective categories:

  • Enterprise CRM Suite: Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, SugarCRM;
  • Midmarket/SMB CRM Suite: Freshworks, HubSpot, Salesforce, SugarCRM, Zoho CRM;
  • Contact Center Infrastructure: Avaya, Genesys, NICE CXone, Twilio, Zoom Video Communications (Five9);
  • Contact Center Analytics: CallMiner, Gridspace, NICE, Qualtrics, Verint Systems;
  • Workforce Optimization: Alvaria, Calabrio, Genesys, NICE, Verint Systems;
  • Contact Center Outsourcing: Alorica, Concentrix, Sitel Group, TTEC, Teleperformance;

  • Customer Data Platforms: Adobe, Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, Twilio Segment;
  • Marketing Automation: Adobe, HubSpot, Oracle, Salesforce, SugarCRM;
  • Salesforce Automation: Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, SAP, SugarCRM.

“In a nutshell, our goal with the CRM Industry Awards over the past 20 years has always been to provide the five leading solutions, as determined by our pool of industry analysts and consultants, that should be on your radar if you are considering an initial purchase or technology upgrade in any of the 10 product categories covered. You’ll still need to do your due diligence before selecting the vendor and solution that is right for your company, but we hope to at least give you a few suggestions to get you started on your way,” CRM Editor Leonard Klie said.

CRM magazine also named six companies as Conversation Starters for 2021. They were Amazon Web Services (AWS), Facebook, Qualtrics, Uniphore, Zendesk, and Zoom Video Communications.

Press Release – CRM Magazine Names Its Second Annual “Top 100” Vendors

CRM magazine recognizes the top providers of customer relationship management technology for customer service, marketing, and sales.

NEW YORK, July 24, 2020–CRM magazine has compiled its 2020 list of the “Top 100” vendors of customer relationship management technology for customer service, marketing, and sales. The list appears in CRM’s July/August 2020 issue.

Along with the vendor list, CRM’s editors also identified the top trends in customer service, marketing, and sales. Not surprisingly, COVID-19 and the need for automation that it spawned in response to government-mandate shutdown, were top-of-mind across the industry.

“Things were churning along, and then the coronavirus hit. The business disruptions caused by the disease and the government response to it have generated renewed interest in and underscored the crucial role of CRM technology,” observed Leonard Klie, editor of CRM magazine. “Almost overnight, CRM technology became the sole way for companies to continue supporting employees now forced to work remotely, maintaining contact with customers and prospects who could no longer shop in stores, and handling a sharp spike in contact center volume.”

CRM Magazine Names Its 2019 Market Leaders

CRM magazine awarded its 18th annual CRM Market Awards in its September 2019 issue. The CRM Market Awards honor the leading vendors of sales and marketing technologies across nine categories. Additionally, CRM magazine named three industry individuals as Influential Leaders; six exceptionally innovative companies as Rising Stars; and three customer companies as Market Elites for their CRM technology deployments.

CRM magazine handed out a total of 66 awards for 2019. Of those, 54 were CRM Market Leader awards, which recognizes the leading vendors across nine industry categories. In each category CRM recognizes one Market Winner, denoting the company receiving the highest overall score from our analysts across a number of judging criteria; four Market Leaders; and a “One to Watch.”

“In this, our 18th annual Market Leader Awards issue, many of the same companies that have led the industry for years continued to shine. A significant change this year, though, was the expansion of the market to accommodate many new vendors. With innovation progressing at speeds that were unimaginable only a few years ago, new vendors are cropping up all the time, and their influence is almost immediate,” said Leonard Klie, editor of CRM magazine.

“On our leaderboards this year, we saw plenty of new vendors that have never appeared before. And even among industry stalwarts—companies that make the leaderboard every year without fail—some of those vendors gained spots in new market segments, having tailored their products to move up market, down market, or into new segments altogether,” Klie said further. “We congratulate all of the companies mentioned in the awards featured this year.”
